Happy Halloween

Halloween is an annual holiday observed on October 31, which commonly includes activities such as trick-or-treating, attending costume parties, carving pumpkins, bonfires, apple bobbing, visiting haunted houses, playing pranks, telling scary stories, and watching horror films. My personal favorite is the costume parties. I usually have a candy potluck with scary movies and just general Halloween type adventures. I am one of the many believers of the idea that just because you get older doesn't mean you outgrow Halloween. Trick-or-Treat to all my readers.

National Take Your Teddy to Work Day.

So today is "National Take Your Teddy To Work Day" there is a facebook event dedicated to this day. I am super excited to participate because I love my Isabelle. I hope that all readers of my blog will also participate. If you haven't a job but go to school, please take your teddy to school. If it is a different animal, that is fine too. Hope you enjoy your time with your Teddy.

9-11-2001

On Tuesday Morning, September 11th, 2001, there was a horrendous terrorist attack on America which can only be described as an act of war. Two planes crashed into the World Trade Center's Twin Towers in New York City, another into the Pentagon in Washington D.C., and a fourth in Pennsylvania.  American Airlines Flight 11, UNITED Airlines Flight 175, American Airlines Flight 77, and UNITED Airlines Flight 93 were hijacked by terrorists and flown into symbols of America in what most compare to Kamikaze tactics.  This caused the World Trade Center's Twin Towers to collapse and crushed a portion of the Pentagon. It is believed that the plane that went down in Pennsylvania was headed for the White House.
